Terms, licensing and hosted API use

Software is offered under the canonical Apache License 2.0 in LICENSE. The database structure/collection is offered under the canonical Open Data Commons Attribution License 1.0 in DATA_LICENSE.md. Original record text is additionally offered under Apache-2.0; cited publications retain their own rights. Neither license grants trademark rights. Cite the project, dataset version, content hash and canonical repository when reusing the database, and preserve applicable notices.

Open-data rights are distinct from access to a hosted service. A hosting operator may impose reasonable capacity limits, throttle abusive traffic, interrupt service for maintenance or discontinue an instance. Cache versioned responses and use bulk downloads for large analysis. v0.1 does not promise unlimited access, service levels or persistent hosting.

The project is supplied without warranty as described in its licenses. It is research infrastructure, not a medical diagnostic tool, clinical reference, certified safety database or manufacturer specification. Do not rely on it alone for medical, vehicle, hardware protection or other high-stakes decisions. A candidate interpretation is not a diagnosis or proof of subjective experience.

No accounts or billing are implemented. Public contribution and review records are versioned. Read the privacy notice and contribution terms before submitting information. Operators should review these project policies for their actual jurisdiction and service configuration; this document does not claim legal certification.
